EXCELL『Junction Boxes』 Gain 『IP68』 Waterproof Certificate

EXCELL today annnouced that its Junction Boxes have been certified to an IP68 rating. An IP (Ingress Protection) rating is an international  standard that shows you the level of ingress protection of your Junction Boxes.

Weighbridge or Truck scale is consisted of weighing platform, load cell and indicator, junction box and electric cable, besides it also can connect to printer, scoreboard, voltage stabilizer and power surge protector and other external equipment, so as to form perfect weighing management system.

"We have found that those Junction Boxes are the most frequent cause of weighbridge problems," said C.C. Lo, Presient and CEO at EXCELL. "because they must be opened to calibrate and service the weighbridge, allowing moisture and other deris to eventually compromise the sensitive connections and circuitry inside."

"Rain, ice, snow and humility are the enermy of many weighbridge components, causing harm to the load cell connections. With IP68 rating, EXCELL Junction Boxes are water resistant to a maximum depth of 1.5m for up to 30 minutes, and are protected from dust, dirt and sand - all without the need for extra caps or covers. EXCELL junction boxes are suitable for quick and simple connection of multiple load cells to weighing electronics. The integrated shift adjustment allows to minimize corner error by simply using a screw driver - no soldering or seperate resistors necessary. The aluminum housing provides best reliability.
